Company Presentation
Long Family Tradition
Since 1994, we have grown from a family project into a production company with 40+ employees. Our magnetic systems find use in various branches of industry.
By emphasising top-quality branch solutions and local knowledge of the needs of customers, we have gradually become number one in production of magnetic systems in the Czech Republic.
Merging of Magnetism and Entrepreneurship
Our story began more than half a century ago in the Ore Research Institute (Ústav pro výzkum rud). We believe in combining magnetism with the spirit of enterprise to create environmentally clean solutions for a wide range of industrial branches.
International Partnerships
Partnership with international industrial company Goudsmit Magnetics Group brought us an international perspective and valuable exchange of experience. We are responsible within the group for servicing customers in central and eastern Europe.
Our magnetic systems are used in more than 35 world countries.
Company History
Our story begins with Otto Kolář, who dedicated his life to magnets. He did work he enjoyed with people of the Ore Research Institute (Ústav pro výzkum rud - ÚVR) in Prague and in Mníšek pod Brdy. He was the head of department for magnetic separation, where he and his colleagues developed and produced unique magnetic separators for processing magnetic ores. ... These machines were used to process iron ores not just in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, but in various other world countries (Sweden, Greece, Russia, Mongolia). Otto remained loyal to magnets even after retiring. Together with his son Jan and his son's wife Jana, they founded their own company, based on their knowledge, experience and relationship with the field. We carry on this tradition.
1960
Extensive patent activity of Otto Kolář in the field of magnetic separation began with co-authorship of a patent for a wet high-intensity magnetic separator.
70s and 80s
