Separators of Non-ferrous Metals (Eddy Current)
Continuous separation of valuable non-ferrous (non-magnetic) metals from communal and industrial waste. Increased value of secondary raw materials.
Branches: recycling | processing of minerals
Non-ferrous metals can be separated as a valuable source of secondary raw materials. Separation is based on the principle of eddy currents. The core of the system is a rapidly rotating magnetic rotor made of powerful neodymium magnets. The rotor is eccentrically mounted in a special drum. All conductive particles are magnetised for a brief moment and are repelled from the material stream by the effects of repulsive forces.
The machine can operate independently or as a part of a sorting line, where better feeding of the input material (waste electrical and electronic equipment, metal scrap, slag in incinerators) is ensured. These separators have a wide range of uses for both coarse and fine material fractions. Take a look at an example of aluminium separation using our new separator Locust.
